Lwak Girls School, Kenya

Millicent, an orphan, is one of the many girls supported by GGAC. Through hard work she managed to stand 45th out of 199 students in Form One (Grade 9). Good luck Millicent as your new school year starts in January!

Give Girls A Chance
Gratefully Acknowledges the following contributions:
Give Girls A Chance recognizes Running Room and its commitment since 2002 to help further girls' education. John Stanton, president and founder of Running Room, was a consultant at the start up of Give Girls A Chance, and through his efforts tens of thousands of dollars have been raised by runners across Canada so girls worldwide have a chance for a basic education. Running Room has continues to support us by organizing three runs in Edmonton and Toronto, and by taking our message about the importance of girls' education to running events the company has taken part in.
Stanton continues to devote his personal time, and his stores' resources, to Give Girls A Chance, and official charity of the Running Room.

Give Girls A Chance (GGAC) recognizes the tremendous support that Transcontinental provided in the 'start up' of GGAC in 2002(see history). They continued this support in 2005 by printing the GGAC brochures and bookmarks.

Give Girls A Chance recognizes the generous donation made by WaterthatWorks of GGAC custom labeled water.

Give Girls A Chance recognizes the support of Canada Running Series.
Give Girls A Chance has been part of the Scotiabank Group of Charity Challenge since 2004 and has been the Official Charity of the Nissan Foundation 5K at the Docks (part of the Canada Running Series) for two years.
