Lwak Girls School, Kenya

Millicent from Lwak girls school Kenya

Millicent, an orphan, is one of the many girls supported by GGAC. Through hard work she managed to stand 45th out of 199 students in Form One (Grade 9). Good luck Millicent as your new school year starts in January!

Thank you to all who ran with the GGAC '08 Team!

(this information will be updated for the 2009 STWM as soon as it is available - approximately the end of February '09)

If you are walking or running the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon September 28th, 2008, please select STWM for instructions.

The challenge of running a race is a gift to yourself, give back and help girls to achieve their basic right of an education.

What others have also done!

  • One group met after their weekly run for coffee at one of the member's homes and they contributed a $ amount each week.

  • One group had a bake sale

  • Have a pot luck dinner party and invite the guests to bring a tax deductable $ donation (only the $ donation is tax deductable). We can loan you a video of our works and send brochures.

  • Got an fundraising idea? Let us know.

Thank You
